Thanks to all for making last week's Time Trials a success! I hope everyone had a good time and feels well-equipped for the meets ahead! Our kids did great; many of the young swimmers attempted strokes and dives they had only learned that morning!

What’s happening this week? Our first meet is this Thursday, May 31^st against CHADD’S WALK at their pool 2146 Spindrift Court, Marietta. Warm-ups will start for our team at 5:15pm. Please have your swimmers arrive on time. Our hosts will provide food concessions for sale. Parking is always a challenge so share rides where possible.

In order to prepare the meet documentation by Wednesday evening, we need everyone to RSVP to inform us if your swimmer wants to compete in the meet or not (we need to be informed either way). How? Go to northforest.swimtopia.com click on SCHEDULE, go to the MEET#1.There are two links: one for volunteering and one for RSVP. (By the way, we really appreciate all the volunteers who are offering their time! There is only one slot remaining to fill… THANK-YOU!!)  However, there are 23 swimmers who do not yet have an RSVP reply for the May 31 meet. Please help out our coaches and do it today!

Also, the morning after our meet (Friday June 1^st), we will NOT have regular practice. Rather it will be our TEAM PICTURE, RIBBONS and FREE SWIM. Get to the pool at 10am (if you arrive at 9am no one will be there!) Swimmers, please remember to wear your swim team t-shirt – if you have an extra, bring one to share with a new swimmer who might not have one.

Individual and group photos will be taken of all swimmers (the pool makes an amazing background!) Order forms will be sent ahead of time and provided at the pool. Clix! does a fabulous job providing great quality at a very reasonable cost. If your swimmer won’t be there, we will schedule one follow-up photoshoot (this allows you to order individual photos and get your child ‘photo-shopped’ into the team picture!) While you need to purchase individual photos, a small group photo will be provided to each swimmer at the end of the season (as part of your registration fees).
