Hi, everyone!  Just a few announcements so everyone knows what is happening this week.

(1) AWAY MEET TOMORROW!  Practice as usual in the morning, and then the swimmers should meet at the Chimney Springs pool (2465 Hearthstone Circle, Marietta) at 5:15 for warm-ups tomorrow evening.  Thanks to everyone who has volunteered!  If you haven't yet, there is one open spot - and if that gets filled, I'm sure Mary wouldn't mind if you checked in with her when you arrived to see if anything opened up last-minute.  Many hands make light work!

(2) MAKE-UP PICTURES TUESDAY! In addition to ribbons (for real this time!), popsicles, and free swim at 10am on Tuesday, our photographer will also be on hand for make-up pictures.  Be sure to bring your swim team t-shirt if you need to be photographed.  Even if you don't want an individual picture, our expert photographer is able to photoshop kids in to the team picture (you can't even tell they were added!), so plan to have your child's picture taken if they weren't there for picture day two weeks ago.

(3) Please remember the safety reminders for free swim Tuesday morning!  Non-confidant swimmers must be where they can stand or accompanied by an adult in the water.  We love your kids and want them to be safe!

(4) None of the coordinators have heard from anyone willing to take on a co-coordinator position for next year.  We are in a pretty dire situation - without a volunteer, there may not be a swim team next year! Please, if your kids have had a good experience on the team and you want it to continue, consider volunteering.  And asking for more information does not obligate you to say yes, so just let me, Keri, Jessica, Jen, or Mary know if you want to hear more about it!  Also, just to be clear - you do NOT need to be able to attend practice every day in order to volunteer.  The current coordinators are willing to shift responsibilities around to accommodate your schedule, but we DO ABSOLUTELY need another set of hands!
