Hello flying fish families,

With school letting out and our time trials, there is a lot to catch up on this week.

Practice Schedule

There will be no practice this Wednesday as most families & neighborhoods will be doing last day of school celebrations.  Tuesday will be the last day for afternoon practices and Thursday will be the first day of morning practices.

Shirts and Swimsuits

We will be passing out shirts on Monday/Tuesday next week at practices. All swimmers get a shirt and parents can purchase shirts for $15.

If you ordered the team suit at the try-on event they will be passed out during practice this week. If you ordered on your own, you should have gotten your suits in the mail already.  

All swimmers will be getting a swim cap as well.

Time Trial Meet:

Thursday, May 26th will be the North Forest Flying Fish Time Trials. This is an important event where we will have a practice meet to get the kids acclimated to what a meet will be like. It is also beneficial for our coaches to get times for everyone in their strokes. Do not worry if your swimmer does not know all the strokes, this is just our first benchmark of the season. Please plan to be at the pool by 5:00pm for warm-ups. The events will start around 5:30pm. I will send more information and specific heat sheets when we get closer. For now, please go to the website and RSVP your swimmer by going to the "Schedule" tab and clicking the "Meet Entry" button next to the event. You can also sign up to fill a volunteer position.
