We hope everyone had a wonderful last day of school today!  Here are a few swim team updates as we head into the "summer" portion of swim team!

Practices

Reminder that we do NOT have swim practice this afternoon due to the end-of-school party happening at the pool.

TOMORROW, May 26, 2022, we have our first morning practice and our Time Trial/Practice Meet.  Morning practices are as follows:

9:00-10:00am ages 6 & under

10:00-11:00am ages 7-10

11:00-noon ages 11-18

Time Trials/Practice Meet

The Time Trial/Practice Meet will begin at 5:30pm, tomorrow, May 26, 2022, and we ask everyone to arrive by 5:00pm for warm-ups.  At this meet, coaches will be in the water to assist kids that need a little extra help.  We will also likely have a "guppy" swim where our 3-4 year-olds can swim a lane and be cheered on!  If you have not already done so, please  go to the website and RSVP your swimmer by going to the "Schedule" tab and clicking the "Meet Entry" button next to the event. You can also sign up to fill a volunteer position.  We will provide everyone heat sheets, so you will know what events your swimmers will be participating in.

We will have concessions at the practice meet tomorrow.  So, please come hungry as all proceeds benefit the swim team!

Please know that we will swim in the rain, but we will not swim if there is thunder or lightning.  We will send an e-mail if the meet is delayed and/or cancelled due to weather, but it is unfortunately unlikely that we will not know what the weather is going to do much in advance.  

T-Shirts and Swim Caps

Our amazing fish swag leader, Lisa Robinson, began distributing t-shirts and swim caps this week.  T-shirts and swim caps are included in the registration fee for all swimmers, if you did not get yours already, you can pick it up tomorrow!  T-shirts for adults are for sale for $15 per shirt.  

Swim Meets

We have 5 official swim meets against other local teams this season.  Our first swim meet is this Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  It is a home meet.  All meets start at 6:00pm, and for home meets, we ask that everyone be at the pool by 4:45pm for warm-ups.  I will send more details after the time-trials.
