Week of 5/22 Schedule Changes, Pool Change, and Time Trials
Hi Flying Fish families,
It's been a wonderful first 2 weeks of practice! We've really enjoyed seeing old and new families down at the pool and the kids have fun swimming and playing together.
Thank you to Heritage Trace (and especially Michelle Heck and Ryan Duckworth) for allowing us to use their pool to open our season. Starting on Monday we will transition to our regular pool at North Forest (2440 North Forest Dr NE, Marietta, GA 30062).

Time Trials Meet:
We will have our first time trial event this Thursday 5/25 at the North Forest Pool. This is an internal practice meet to get the kids used to a competition environment. Please arrive at the pool between 4:30 - 5:00 for the kids to get ready. Warmups will start at 5:00 and the first event will start at 5:30.
Meet RSVP and Volunteering
For all meets this year (including the time trial), every swimmer needs to RSVP. Please login to the website and navigate to the schedule tab. Once there, click the "Meet Entries" button next to the meet to RSVP Yes or No and leave any notes to the coaches.
We also need many volunteers to make a meet run effectively. From the same schedule tab you can sign up for open volunteer positions. Some of these positions include providing food items for our concessions.
Pink Out Meet:
June 27th will be our final meet and it will be featuring the charity It's the Journey to support breast cancer awareness and research. All meets across the entire league will be participating by wearing pink. If you would like to participate, It's the Journey is selling pink items in support of the Pink Out meet here: https://e.givesmart.com/events/uR5/page/order-form...
As always, please don't hestitate to reach out to me with any questions!
