Hello Flying Fish Families,

TOMORROW is our Time Trials event, and I am very much looking forward to seeing all our swimmers especially those that are trying out new strokes for the first time! This is a practice meet with just our team and a way to capture times and track progression in each race for each swimmer. Please remember to arrive at the pool by 5:30pm to get ready for the meet to start at 6:00pm.

For our first-time families, it is customary that the swimmers will write their events on their arms so they can track what they are swimming. The coaches will assist with this before the meet starts.

Guppy Races: Any of our 3 and 4 year-old swimmers can participate in the time-trials meet. We will have coaches in the water to help our littlest swimmers in a fun exhibition race!

RSVP: It is not too late to RSVP, so please log-into the system and confirm your attendance. Please also go ahead and submit your RSVP for the first meet against Chadd's Walk next Wednesday. We will begin building the meet entries on Friday.

Concessions: Please come hungry for our award-winning concessions. You will be able to purchase food, snacks, drinks, and team t-shirts for fans. We accept cash or Venmo.

Team Shirts and Suits: All swimmers get a new shirt as part of their registration.  If you have not gotten your shirt already, Kim will be handing those out during the Time Trials.  Kim will also distribute team swimsuits to anyone who ordered them.

Volunteers: We are still in need of a few volunteers to run the meet, please check the website and sign-up if you can!

Practices: As a reminder, there is no practice today.  Morning practices will begin tomorrow with the following schedule:

• 9:00-9:45 - 6 & unders
• 9:45-10:30 - 7-8 year olds
• 10:30-11:15 - 9-10 year olds
• 11:15-12:00 - 11 and up

We will have additional evening practices available starting next week.  Communication about that schedule will come after the Time Trials.
