Hello Flying Fish Families

Tonight is our Time Trial event! Warmups begin at 5:30pm and the races will start at 6:00pm.  This is just a practice meet for our own team.

Heat Sheats: Attached to this email is the Heat sheet for the meet. This is an important document that shows the full schedule and lineups for each race. For convenience, I am also attaching a version that is organized by swimmer so you can quickly see what races your children have without looking through the whole schedule. Please keep in mind that for tonight's meet the event numbers will skip (as we are not doing long races or relays). For example, we start with event 11-12, and then we will jump to event 25. Please have your child go behind the blocks to prepare for their race at least 4 events in advance. Your child's races are also up in the SwimTopia App and you can track them in real time!

Weather: We are actively tracking the weather and there is a chance that the weather may affect our plans.  For all meets in the season, the rain will typically not stop us.  In the event of thunder & lightning, I coordinate with the meet referee and lifeguard on deck regarding delays.  I will use the SwimTopia app to communicate about any weather related delays, so I encourage you to download it to get the most up to date information.  In the app, you can also see your swimmer's events/times and track the status of the meet.
