Hello Flying Fish families,

Congratulations to all of our swimmers for an absolutely incredible first meet tonight. We came away with a HUGE WIN against Chadd's Walk with a score of 530 points for North Forest vs. 377 points for Chadd's Walk. Also, 39% of all races were personal bests and 35 new team records were set tonight: Team Records - North Forest Flying Fish.  Special shout out to Lydia, VP, Caleb, and Anabella who swam the IM for the first time tonight and absolutely crushed it.  

Separate from the massive success in the pool, I was blown away by the support the kids showed each other. Everyone was dancing and cheering the whole meet.  All the kids showed up for themselves and each other.  You should all be so proud.  Swimming is a team sport and this is the best team.

Looking ahead to the rest of this week, a coach from the Chattahoochee Gold year-round club swim team will be visiting our pool tomorrow morning to provide some additional instruction to our swimmers.  Please try to attend if you can. On Friday, we will have practices as normal with ribbons from tonight's meet being handed out during practice.
